The Megalodon in Ark is also referred to simply as 'Mega'. It is a huge, deadly shark that is most certainly aggressive. The Megalodon, as a shark, can be found in the ocean. It usually remains in deep water and has a very large aggressiveness range, meaning a Megalodon can be hard to avoid. If the Megalodon is killed, it can be harvested for two meat types - raw fish meat and raw prime fist meat - along with the unique drop of the Megalodon tooth. As the Megalodon is a powerful creature, it is unlikely that you will be able to slay it whilst in the waters and it would instead be better to use something like a raft to approach.
